Yaowawit School Kapong

For every sold bracelet from our Anchor-une-fois Collection we are happy to donate €2 to the Yaowawit School Kapong. Yaowawit School Kapong is a project of the “Children’s World Academy” Foundations Germany and Thailand. The boarding school is a government approved, charitable institution for the poorest children in the South of Thailand. Initially Yaowawit was founded by the German Philanthropist Philipp Graf von Hardenberg to help the victims of the devastating Tsunami in 2004. These children had suffered loss of parents and relatives, and had been affected by disease and horrendous social conditions. Over the years Yaowawit has expanded and now also accepts kids from very poor and broken families. These families are unable to support their children either financially or emotionally. Yaowawit is currently home to 120 children ranging from 3 to 18 years old. We deliberately chose the anchor for our anchor-une-fois bracelets as a sign of hope and belonging that we find is so very fitting for this amazing cause.

If you want to find out more about this awesome project, feel free to head over to the Yaowawit Website.
